Terms and Conditions

Definitions

For clarity, the following terms apply throughout these Terms & Conditions:

  • “Promoter” / “We” / “Us” – Prize Card Hub.

  • “Entrant” / “You” – Any person entering a competition through the Website or by post. Entrants must be UK residents aged 18 or over.

  • “Competition” – Any skill-based contest operated by Prize Card Hub.

  • “Prize” – The item or cash alternative offered in a competition.

  • “Entry” – A valid submission made either by (a) answering the competition question correctly and paying the entry fee, or (b) using the free postal entry method.

  • “Website”https://prizecardhub.com

  • “Closing Date” – The published deadline for a competition. Entries cannot be made after this date. Competitions may close earlier if all tickets are sold.

  • “Winner” – The entrant whose ticket number is drawn using Google’s Random Number Generator.

  • “Maximum Entries” – The total number of available tickets per competition, displayed on the competition page.


1. General

1.1. By entering a competition, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

1.2. Entrants must provide accurate contact details, including a valid email address. These details are used to:

  • Notify winners,

  • Publish winners’ names and towns on the Website,

  • Share ticket numbers transparently on Facebook,

  • Comply with our Privacy Policy.

1.3. Entrants are solely responsible for ensuring their contact information is correct. The Promoter is not responsible for any failure to contact entrants due to inaccurate or incomplete information.


2. Privacy

2.1. Personal data provided by entrants will be processed in line with the Data Protection Act 1998 and our Privacy Policy.

2.2. We may share information with relevant third parties where required by law or for fraud prevention and regulatory purposes.


3. Entering Competitions

3.1. Competitions are open only to UK residents aged 18 or over.

3.2. Competitions are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Northern Ireland courts.

3.3. Entry fees, competition details, and the maximum number of entries are displayed on the Website.

3.4. Entrants must register an account with a valid email address before entering.

3.5. To enter online:

  1. Select a competition and add tickets to your basket.

  2. Provide the required contact and payment details.

  3. Confirm your acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

  4. After successful payment, an email confirmation will be sent. Entry is not valid until this confirmation is received.

3.6. Paying the entry fee and submitting a correct answer does not guarantee that you will win.

3.7. Payments and Refunds – All entry fees must be paid in pounds sterling. Payments are processed securely via our chosen payment providers. Once processed, entry fees are non-refundable, except if:

  • A competition is cancelled by the Promoter, or

  • A payment is accepted in error.

3.8. Prizes are supplied as described on the Website. For vehicles, we do not guarantee roadworthiness. Entrants must carry out their own checks and due diligence. Manufacturer warranties apply where available.

3.9. Free Postal Entry – Entrants may enter without payment by sending a clear, handwritten or typed postcard to:

Each postcard must include:

  • Full name

  • Email address

  • Phone number

  • Postal address

  • Competition title

  • Competition answer

  • A statement confirming acceptance of these Terms & Conditions

Only one entry per postcard will be accepted. Entrants must hold a registered online account before submitting postal entries.

3.10. The Promoter reserves the right to reject incomplete, invalid, or late entries.


4. Closing Competitions

4.1. A competition closes when all tickets are sold or at the published Closing Date, whichever occurs first.

4.2. Competitions will never be extended but may be drawn earlier if all tickets are sold.


5. Selecting Winners

5.1. Winners are chosen using Google’s Random Number Generator during a live Facebook draw.

5.2. Each competition will have one winner unless otherwise stated.

5.3. Winners will be contacted within 48 hours by email, telephone, Facebook, or post. If a winner cannot be reached within 7 days, an alternative winner may be selected.

5.4. Entry lists will be available on Facebook during the live draw and may also be downloaded from the Website in advance.

5.5. If an unsold ticket is drawn, another number will be selected until a valid winner is confirmed.


6. Prizes

6.1. Ownership of prizes remains with the Promoter until they are physically handed over to the winner.

6.2. If fewer than 70% of tickets are sold, the advertised prize will be replaced with a cash alternative equal to 80% of total ticket sales.

6.3. Winners must provide valid photo identification when claiming their prize.

6.4. The winner is responsible for any taxes, registration fees, insurance, or ongoing costs associated with the prize.

6.5. Prizes are only available to winners residing in the UK.


7. Liability and Miscellaneous

7.1. Winners consent to their name, town, and image being used on the Website and social media for promotional purposes. The Promoter may request photos or video content of winners receiving their prize for marketing use.

7.2. The Promoter accepts no liability for:

  • Incomplete, lost, or delayed entries (including postal entries),

  • Technical issues (website downtime, server errors, etc.),

  • Failure to notify winners due to incorrect contact details or spam filters,

  • Errors in prize descriptions or specifications,

  • Any personal risk or loss incurred by entrants in connection with entering competitions.

7.3. Entry into competitions is at the entrant’s own risk.

7.4. The Promoter reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will be published on the Website.
